Jessi Armfield, J.D.
Jessi Armfield is an attorney dedicated to providing compassionate, personalized legal representation. As a member of Armfield Law, she focuses on helping individuals navigate complex legal matters with clarity, empathy, and strong advocacy. Her practice primarily centers on adoption law and general civil litigation, where she works closely with clients to deliver thoughtful, tailored legal solutions during some of life’s most important transitions. In addition to her private practice work, Ms. Armfield serves as a prosecutor for multiple municipalities represented by the firm.
Prior to joining Armfield Law, Ms. Armfield served as a Deputy Public Defender for Coconino County, where she represented participants in the county’s Pathways to Community diversion program. In this role, she helped individuals understand their rights and successfully complete diversion requirements so that criminal charges could be avoided. She later served as a Deputy County Attorney with the Coconino County Attorney’s Office, gaining valuable experience in civil litigation and government law.
Ms. Armfield remains actively engaged in Arizona’s legal community. She currently serves as Vice President of the Coconino County Bar Association and Treasurer of the Arizona Adoption Commission, contributing to ongoing efforts to strengthen legal practice and improve adoption systems throughout the state.
She is also passionate about mentoring the next generation of legal professionals. Ms. Armfield coaches the Northern Arizona University Mock Trial Team and serves as an advisor to the NAU chapter of Chi Omega, helping students develop leadership, advocacy, and professional skills.
During law school at Arizona State University’s Sandra Day O’Connor College of Law, Ms. Armfield held several prominent leadership roles, including President of the Student Bar Association and Executive Editor of the Jurimetrics Law Journal. In recognition of her leadership and academic achievements, she was honored with the Dean’s Award upon graduation.
Ms. Armfield earned her Juris Doctor from Arizona State University College of Law in 2022 and her undergraduate degree from Arizona State University in 2015.
Beyond her legal career, Ms. Armfield has maintained a long-standing commitment to service. Since 2010, she has volunteered with Banner Health as a Child Life Volunteer at Phoenix Children’s Hospital (Cardon Children’s Medical Center), supporting young patients and families. She is fluent in both English and Spanish, allowing her to serve a broader community.
Through her work in private practice, public service, and community leadership, Ms. Armfield strives to make the legal system more accessible, supportive, and effective for the individuals and families she serves.
